Day 2 - Tokyo

We woke up early for the next day, since Japan's sun really rise early, around 5am!

Our first stop is of course the famous Asakusa Sensoji Temple, which is 5-10 minutes walking distance from our hotel.

With the blooming sakura along the way...., really breathtaking!

The place was crowded at 8am in the morning, even before the batch of tourist buses arrived!

And as luck have it, we spotted a few geishas walking passed by. Supposed these are real geishas, since they walked very briskly

Look at their beautiful kimono~

We were hungry after offering prayers, so looking around a good ramen shop to satisfy our growling stomach and stumbled across this humble looking shop, it is managed by a lady, and prior to get in, we look at our menu.

Afterward placed our order and paid here.

You just need to press on the button for your order, and since we dun read Japanese, we look at the numbers, press our order, pay money, and the machine will print out a coupon for you.

Once you get into the shop, you just need to give the coupon for the waitress and your food will arrive in front of you within 3 mins! Fast! And furiously delicious.

We then strolled around Sensoji again, since there are rows of souvernir shops around, and guess what this is!

Hahah.., it is the so called "naked breasts pudding"! Trust the Japs to be crazy enough to invent this.

And this, my dear friends, is not gay on parade, but trishaw puller offering service for tourist who would like a taste on how a ride on trishaw feels like. (The tourist should go Medan, there are lots of trishaw)

Around 10am, we checked out from our miserable hotel, and go to our next hotel, which is luckily very comfortable and my gosh, with TV and heater! Luckily I didn't book the previous hotel for more than 1 night.

After checking in and had our lunch, we left for another stop, the Tokyo Anime Fair.

We arrived quite late, around 4-5pm, the ticket priced around 1000yen/pax, if I am not wrong, cannot really recall.

And this monster greated us.

Lots of Otaku in the building, with lots of gals cosplay-ing. Here are some of their pics. Enjoy!

We ended the day with a dinner in Shinjuku area before went back to our hotel for a comfortable night sleep.

Next day is Osaka!
