Romance?

Romance hardly exists nowadays with 2 babies on tow. So when CK sms-ed me saying it's been a long time we didn't have time for ourselves, and asking me out for a romantic dinner, I just couldn't resist.

So yesterday night, we left our babies with MIL and maid (recently hired for taking care of babies), we set off to Victoria Station in Taipan. Didn't want to go anywhere far, just in case. Seems like being a parent, you will always put your offspring wellbeing above of anything else.

We talked of general things from work to politics, from babies to family, from our past to present. It was such a lovely night, especially when we were holding hands while talking and sharing.

Food was general, with me ordering the Combo of Cajun Salmon and Lamb Cutlets, cream of mushroom and Dragonfruit juice. Nothing to shout about, although the Salmon is good, I hate the fact that they didn't take/clean off the bones completely.

CK ordered Seafood Tomyam (sounds rather strange ain't it, in a Western food establishment?), Victoria Sirloin steak and Ice Lemon Juice.

Truthfully, once tasted the Western food in Sydney, I couldn't find anything nice and comparable here. Once tasted the Ramen in Japan, I couldn't like the Japanese food here anymore. Sigh~~

I would say it's such a lovely night, not because of the food, but more of the ambience. :D

Too bad, I didn't order red wine. Hmmm.... Should open a bottle tonight!
