Or should I titled it as 2 weeks of Agony? It certainly gave me the rest I badly needed, however, it was filled with agony.
My MIL insisted to go back her kampoeng for some house renovation that she needed to supervise, else, she won't be able to sleep or eat (Heheh.., that was extreme, but I really believe that's the case). And, well, if she goes back, my babies need to follow her, as there will be nobody who can take care of them when I am working.
So off they went by end of July. Me and CK dropped them in the kampoeng, and after helping them to settle down, we left the next day. How I cried when saying good bye to my babies. My gal kept on crying want to follow us (whenever she sense that we are going out, she will demand to follow, anyway). My boy just gave me his special 2-teeth grin when I kissed him, which made me cry even the more. Sigh~~~
The week afterward passed by with me cooking dinner for the family AND staring at the empty baby cots. Complete with CK's chanting babies nicknames. Misery does love company, aye?
So unable to bear the agony anymore, I took leave on Thursday and Friday. Took a night bus on Wednesday to surprise my babies when they wake up. And oh boy, how my girl giggled and kissed me again and again when she woke up to see me there. As for my boy, he woke up when I reached there and I fed him his milk, afterward, he played with me before falling asleep again.
I guess they missed me as much as I missed them. I love to spend my weekends with babies in the kampoeng. I can just walk them anytime around the kampoeng, the air is fresh and good for them, the weather is cooling and they can sleep longer. Which is why they gained weight during the 2 weeks duration. :D
Lenggong has night market every Fridays and morning market every Saturdays, where sellers from as far as Penang and Taiping will flock the markets with their goods. So my visit there on weekends, I happened to chance upon the market.
And, oh, how happy I am till now with my purchase! Let me share in another entry.
During the weekdays, I spent with CK together, with me reading books and him playing around with his machine. Other than that, we managed to squeeze time with movie dates, twice. Watching "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Salt" to rekindle the romance between us. :D
So is this considered as agony or bliss?
