Next week will be the Chinese Rice Dumpling Festival, however, MIL decided to make an early dumplings for the whole family to enjoy.
She started with cooking all the ingredients, and mixed everything together before starting to pack the dumpling, which I found quite weird.
My own mom always cooks the ingredients and separates them, so during packing it will be easier.
Either way, as long as the dumplings turn out to be delicious, I have no complaints!
