Today we went to Bukit Cahaya for cycling. Bukit Cahaya is the Malaysia Agriculture Park located in Shah Alam, which is 20 minutes drive from our home. We reached there quite early, around 8.30am, and the place is not yet open.
It is open on Monday - Sunday, 9.00am to 6.00pm. So while waiting, we were chit chatting, until the door open, we need to purchase an entrance ticket which cost RM3/pax.
Once we passed the entrance, we went directly to rent bicycles. Quite cheap, as it only cost us RM5/hour of renting.

The terrain of our trip is very hard for me, a full time housewife and mother, and it surely is different from the usual track that I used to (which is one straight way). The track is a real mountain track, which caused me to cycle hard to reach the top at times and to let my bicycle ran down freely at others. Quite scary for someone like me.
So most of the times, when I couldn't cycle hard enough to reach the top, I walked. :)
In the midst of our track, one member's bicycle broke down, and Richard, the lawyer-cum-handyman, tried to fix it.
Beautiful scenery while I waited for them to finish fixing (actually more like I was resting, since too tired from the track we had covered).
We spent around 50mins to 1 hour to cover the whole track, with me emerging last, of course. Heheheh.
After returning our bicycles, we waited for the park bus which will bring us to the other end of the park, the Dam.
I love the open air concept, just nice to cool off after the tiring exercise.
We passed by many attractions offered by the park, such as zoo, mushroom park, orchird park, season house, resthouse, etc. We reached the dam after 15-20mins bus ride.
At this bridge, you can see, to our right is the dam with water as deep as I dunno what.
To our right side is cliff as steep as I also dunno what. (What am I bambling?). However, it is enough to turn my legs into jelly.
At the dam, there are some portion that some people used to farm some fish, like Red Talapia, which they sell at RM8/kg, and other type of fishes, which the owner refused to sell.
We walked through the section of the farm and the owner was kind enough to let us feed the fishes.
Afterward, we decided to call it a day, and while waiting for the bus to pick us up, we spotted this fellow who were eyeing food that we had on hand.
As always, we ended our trip with sumptous lunch, and since we were around Klang, what else to have besides Bak Kut Teh? (Klang is famous for it)
However, to me, this BKT still stands a far chance from the Bukit Tinggi BKT. I kind of disappointed that no BKT can beat the Bukit Tinggi one yet. Since this means, I gotta travel so far away for a delicious BKT. :(
Well, all of us were expecting some sore muscles the next day, which I am quite sure to have it. But it is welcomed by me. Hopefully, there will be another group trip soon.
